I don’t understand why there’s so much fuss & hate going around about the lines they cut off from 7x17.

Although it was a good couple of lines if you ask me, (which you don’t but this is my humble opinion post) the part that was in the promo & sadly not in the episode “Part of me always believed that you’d come back” (notice that this line was okayed & kept by everyone involved) meant so much more. Because Dean is the man that has no faith. And there were times in his life he lost faith in his father & brother that all his life meant the world to him. Still after everything, he had faith that Cas would come back (to him) like he did before. And that speaks volumes.

There is no reason to spread hate (again) on the actors. I still believe neither of them had any intention of offending anyone. So yes maybe the choice of words in the convention weren’t accurate in my opinion but that’s just me. I didn’t find the conversation ‘unmanly’ but I did definitely found them ooc for Dean. Not to feel them, but to express them outloud.
